Abseil for Health

EPIC 12 hour fundraiser // Abseil for Health. 

Adrenaline junkies spent their weekend descending from the Queensland Country Bank Stadium to raise funds for Brighter Lives. From sun up to sun down, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) and Outerlimits Adventure Fitness volunteered their whole Saturday and raised over $50,000! 

A massive 1,372 people from Townsville and surrounding towns flocked down to have the opportunity to break a world record.  The world record was made in 2005 and sits at 1,350 off Twickenham Stadium in the UK for the most amount of abseilers from a stadium roof.
