Book Fair - thank YOU! $14,858.55 raised

Thank you to everyone who bought or donated books at our book fair! Thanks to your help, the Book Fair raised $14,858.55! 

On 17-18 August, Willows Shopping Centre hosted the Brighter Lives Townsville Book Fair. The event has become a staple in the calendars of local book lovers, with book prices starting from only 50c. 

"The turnout was truly heartwarming. It’s amazing to see so many people come together, not just to find great books but to support a local charity in north Queensland," Brighter Lives CEO, Stephanie Naunton, said.

Behind the scenes of the book fair are two hardworking volunteers, Robyn Frew and Fred Sacroug, who work endless hours sorting and pricing the book donations. 

"We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the book fair," Stephanie Naunton said. "This event is a testament to our amazing north Queensland community coming together and we are so grateful for everyone's support. Thank you."
