What is Giving Day?

Giving Day is an exciting 12-hour fundraising event where we ask our amazing local community to help raise funds to support patients, visitors, staff and projects across Townsville Hospital and Health Service facilities.

Locals Supporting Locals

Brighter Lives is the official charity of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service and is 100% local with funds raised supporting your local hospitals in North Queensland, with our region covering Townsville & Magnetic Island, Ingham, Palm Island, Burdekin, Charters Towers, Hughenden, Richmond, and Cardwell.

As a local, chances are that you or a loved one has been a patient at a Townsville Hospital and Health Service facility. With 100% of funds staying in North Queensland, Giving Day is your chance to give back to our local health service to help provide world-class equipment, training, research and facilities.

Brighter Lives funds equipment to help keep care local and projects to make our hospital services brighter and more comfortable. With your help, we ensure that north Queenslanders receive the best healthcare right here in the north.
